How to Get Rid of Dental Plaque Naturally at Home?

How do you all deal with dental plaque? I’m so embarrassed to go to the dentist; my bottom teeth are so bad with it. I’m trying to eliminate processed foods and use homemade toothpaste. Can you get it off at home?

Brush thoroughly – fronts, then biting side, then backs. If you already have harden plaque (calculus) this needs to be removed by a dental hygienist

Although you can scrape it at home, a hygienist will do the work you can't get to. I wouldn't be embarrassed, that is their job to care for your teeth! Go in and have them help you before that plaque causes more issues!

I have it bad, I have never gotten my teeth cleaned, never could afford it. But we have dental insurance now. I have a friend who is a hygienist, and she posts meme's sometimes, and it makes me feel bad. I figure they're all like that.

Don't be embarrassed! I had not been to the dentist in years and years not even for cleanings. I had to go two times to get my teeth deep cleaned. Once for the top teeth and once for the bottom. Now I just go twice a year. Everyone was very nice and non-judgmental. Their job is to clean your teeth not judge you.

Plaque is actually supposed to be nano-bacteria according to newer research; neem is one thing that can kill it; it grows like coral, and can also grow in your joints even. The dental cleaning machines cannot kill it, so you can actually& catch the bacteria from dental tools that have some of the bacteria from someone before you. Ozone oil is supposed to remove Plaque. Also, I have read, they sell it on Amazon.

Another way to do is – I have heard amazing feedback about ionic toothbrushes. Dr. Tung’s Toothbrush Ionic System toothbrush is a recommended product for same.

Dental surgeries in the U.K. have invested thousands of pounds in decontamination equipment and are subjected to rigorous regulations and testing. You are more likely to be contaminated with someone else's bacteria from a fork in a restaurant than from dental equipment. Everything goes in an autoclave and is sterilized and then sealed until the next use.

I recommend using turmeric powder and coconut oil to make a thick paste and brush like normal but focus on the area of concern. If you brush for five minutes and keep loading your toothbrush with paste, it will feel like your teeth are glass. If you have turmeric root, it's probably better because it's a more natural source.

It helped a lot with pain when I was healing from an extraction. I also boil chopped up root with ginger and it makes an incredibly sweet tea considering there's no sugar.

Mix raw coconut oil with fine grade Terramin and Apple Cider Vinegar. Brush with this mixture only once per week. To brush using this mixture more frequently than once per week, may be detrimental to enamel. Brushing with this will help you get rid of your problem.

I use a combo of baking soda, diatomaceous earth, and pink salt. I put coconut oil in my mouth and the powder on my brush. I use the powder about 2x a week. The amount to be used:

    • 1 Tablespoon Soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
