How do you all deal with dental plaque? I’m so embarrassed to go to the dentist; my bottom teeth are so bad with it. I’m trying to eliminate processed foods and use homemade toothpaste. Can you get it off at home?
Brush thoroughly – fronts, then biting side, then backs. If you already have harden plaque (calculus) this needs to be removed by a dental hygienist.
Although you can scrape it at home, a hygienist will do the work you can't get to. I wouldn't be embarrassed, that is their job to care for your teeth! Go in and have them help you before that plaque causes more issues!

The dental cleaning machines cannot kill it, so you can actually& catch the bacteria from dental tools that have some of the bacteria from someone before you. Ozone oil is supposed to remove Plaque. Also, I have read, they sell it on Amazon.
Another way to do is – I have heard amazing feedback about ionic toothbrushes. Dr. Tung’s Toothbrush Ionic System toothbrush is a recommended product for same.
Dental surgeries in the U.K. have invested thousands of pounds in decontamination equipment and are subjected to rigorous regulations and testing. You are more likely to be contaminated with someone else's bacteria from a fork in a restaurant than from dental equipment. Everything goes in an autoclave and is sterilized and then sealed until the next use.
I recommend using turmeric powder and coconut oil to make a thick paste and brush like normal but focus on the area of concern. If you brush for five minutes and keep loading your toothbrush with paste, it will feel like your teeth are glass. If you have turmeric root, it's probably better because it's a more natural source.
It helped a lot with pain when I was healing from an extraction. I also boil chopped up root with ginger and it makes an incredibly sweet tea considering there's no sugar.
Mix raw coconut oil with fine grade Terramin and Apple Cider Vinegar. Brush with this mixture only once per week. To brush using this mixture more frequently than once per week, may be detrimental to enamel. Brushing with this will help you get rid of your problem.
