I wouldn't mix different oral treatment modalities at the same time – how will you be able to tell which treatment is responsible for new symptoms that may occur or the resolution of existing symptoms? Or if one treatment is actually working against the other treatment?
It is ok to add chiro/osteo/PT or other bodywork to TMJD splint or Orthotic TX because it often complements the treatment by ensuring the structure is aligned; still, Starecta requires the use of DIY oral appliance sometimes called a rectifier to address the structure – how would two different oral appliances, the rectifier and an orthotic, be used at the same time?
Each of the proposed treatments requires full-time splint usage. Since splints are made at different jaw relation position, it is not possible to do both at the same time.
