Going to list out a few natural ways to effectively negate the effects of airborne allergens:

    • Treat your gut and allergies will greatly improve. Also, Activated Quercetin works great.
    • Prebiotics and Probiotics – Prebiotics lays the foundation for the probiotic with proper fiber so that the probiotic can seed itself.
    • Local honey, vitamin C and no dairy.
    • Local bee pollen
    • Stinging nettle
    • I highly recommend a good HEPA air filter for your house. I have a Winix brand model 5500, and its a lifesaver.
    • Sinusitis (Sinus Inflammation) – Although not all studies agree, Bromelain may help reduce cough and nasal mucus associated with sinusitis. It may also relieve the swelling and inflammation caused by hay fever.

Do you use a Neti Pot? It really helps me. I always use it when I come in from outside and several times throughout the day. I also take local honey and Manuka honey daily, plus extra virgin coconut oil. I also heard people talking about taking this — Histaminum Hydrochloricum — for allergies. I have never heard of it, but they were saying it works great for them. So it may be an option.

I do not use a neti pot but have in the past. I kept giving myself ear and sinus infections ????. I know, I'm a rare case!

It's one of several issues of my body not developing properly at an early age. Instead, I opt for either a quick hot shower or a hot wet towel to my face & clear/clean my nostrils as best I can.

I figure that something's better than nothing. I have found some local raw honey that I plan to pick up in the morning.

You have to be very careful using the neti pot. I always wait a few minutes before blowing my nose because if you do it too soon, it pushes the water into the ears.

Found out the hard way on that. Plus I wait about 5 minutes or so and stand leaned over with my head down for a minute just to be sure everything is drained out. If anything is left when you stand it will run out.

I'm not even supposed to go swimming, so I should have known better about the neti pot. It makes perfect sense that it works for most people when used correctly though.
