I use apple cider vinegar & magnesium powder for constipation in supplements and used medications but not the one specific to Sibo. The vinegar works but you have to take it one or two tablespoons in the morning before you eat anything. I took it with some honey or orange juice or something that you like to drink doesn’t matter what. And I take it at night, 1 to 2 tablespoons every night, it works miracles for acid reflux bloating too. And it has to be organic apple cider vinegar, don’t buy that clear stuff that you get in the grocery store cost about $0.79. A bottle itself lasts a good time.

I’ve tried them all, HCL worked the best for me. I take a pancreatic enzyme formula with each meal. I take one if I am not having heavy protein, and two if I am. I don’t have a gall bladder and that has to be factored in for me. After a couple of weeks or so, I was 90% symptom-free. Prescribed by my integrative doc.

He gave me from his office EnzymixPro K99 which I used for a while. It says to take one, he said I could take 4 before every meal. I now use Source enzymes. I also take 1500 mg HCL with every meal. I also take 1500 mg HCL with every meal.

But I’m also not eating any carbs, and leaving 4 hours between meals, and fasting 12-14 hours at night. I’m using magnesium or aloe ferox for motility. These things have managed my symptoms.

I have bad GERD. The problem with ingesting HCL or apple cider vinegar is you don’t know whether you produce too much or too little acid. Do determine that you need a Heidelberg test. If you produce too much acid, I don’t think it will help. If you produce too little, it might.
I manage symptoms via Acidil by Boiron (homoeopathic but really works) Digestive enzymes.
