MTHFR has to do with the conversion and utilization (methylation) of certain B vitamins and amino acids. It has not been connected to any difficulty with any minerals.
My practitioner told me this after i realized a liquid formula i purchased did contain silver and i asked if i should discontinue use or not:
It has to do with MTHFR and people not being able to detox normally, including metals, so there is a potential for the silver to accumulate in the body over time. The liquid formulas have silver in them as a natural antibiotic to stop them going off basically. Long term use tablets would be better absolutely. I use both, I’m not overly concerned about a little bit of silver here and there, but it would have to be a personal choice based on body condition whether you are ok to use what you have and then switch to tablets going forward. I hope this helps 🙏

My understanding is it impairs the ability to detox as well.
Nothing that I could find indicated that. Colloidal Silver isn’t actually for detoxing, it is an antimicrobial and strengthens the immune system.
I may have confused you. MTHFR impairs detox pathways in the body. My worry is the accumulation of Colloidal Silver in my body.
No, Colloidal Silver does not accumulate in the body.
